This session is presented under the auspices of the Brazilian Association for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (AB3C), the regional affiliate of the ISCB. The AB3C annual conference, the X-meeting, contemplates amongst other venues, the oral presentation of papers evaluated by the X-meeting Editorial Committee. The accepted manuscripts will be published in a Brazilian electronic, open access and indexed journal: Genetics and Molecular Research. In this session various tendencies comprising from genomics to structural biology will be given a spotlight.
