The ruins of the house where this famous Brazilian romanticist was born. It contains José de Alencar's paintings and documents. It was the first place in the Ceará state to receive steam energy. The site is at “Messejana”, in Washington Soares Avenue, 6055. Visits daily, including Saturdays and Sundays, from 8 am to 5 pm.
