This contains three main collections - Paleontology, Aboriginal and Archaeology. There are permanent thematic expositions, with subjects of interest in the history of the State. The building was constructed in 1817, and is a showpiece of the Brazilian neo-classical style. Situated in São Paulo Street, 51, Center. Open weekdays, except Mondays, from 8.30 am until 5 pm. Saturdays/Holidays, from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm. Sundays from 2 pm until 5 pm.
