The restaurants offer, alongside an international menu, the typical dishes of three different peoples - the european colonisers, the indigenous indian and the black africans. The influence of the latter two is very strong. The diet is based on seafood, primarily fish cooked with vegetables eg lobster. In fact Ceará and specially Fortaleza, are the biggest brazilian exporters for lobster. Macaxeira cake is another delicacy unique to the region.
